Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Edson-Arantes Maradona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edson-Arantes Maradona really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson-Arantes Maradona in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. TheLastDance's Ludomir Niemoj got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Edson-Arantes Maradona took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Jedrzej Prusek kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Albin Holweck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Germany's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 55th minute Villota Labra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Gongolewicz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Germany booed when TheLastDance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villota Labra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslaw Gongolewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Villota Labra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. TheLastDance made a substitution. Black Angel replaced Carlinhos Vale. In the 80th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, Bartosz Furgat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaroslaw Gongolewicz went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Korneliusz Ochabski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TheLastDance's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
