After 11 minutes 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 17th minute of play forced 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's goalkeeper 鲁谦烨 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 鲁谦烨, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play forced 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's goalkeeper 鲁谦烨 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric 刘备, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's 白锋耀 got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the 【FLY】莱比锡红牛 defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 鲁谦烨. The 【FLY】莱比锡红牛 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 鲁谦烨 should have stopped the shot. 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's 鲁谦烨 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Lars Meesters was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 严文朗 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 鲁谦烨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natanael Sena's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Patric 刘备 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 鲁谦烨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wim Wilmes fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Wim Wilmes a yellow card for diving instead. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patric 刘备 made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Patric 刘备 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natanael Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's 鲁谦烨 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save 【FLY】莱比锡红牛 from getting a goal against them. 鲁谦烨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 71st minute of play. 鲁谦烨 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 77th minute. With a little luck, 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's 鲁谦烨 got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 鲁谦烨. 鲁谦烨 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 鲁谦烨 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Lars Meesters made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's 鲁谦烨 managed to reach the ball for a save. When 严文朗 fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's protests and gave 严文朗 a yellow card for diving instead. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wim Wilmes in the 98thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 鲁谦烨, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 【FLY】莱比锡红牛 throughout the match.
