Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonatan Alebom started the match with the kick off. Walter Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sreten Popovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sreten Popovic in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Walter Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borjan Golubovic in the 13th minute of play. Aaron Göransson's late challenge caught a Serbia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Göransson helped the player get up and apologised. Walter Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drasko Rajkovic in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Walter Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's Walter Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sreten Popovic in the 18th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Serbia's Sreten Popovic nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Lindholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borjan Golubovic in the 31st minute of play forced Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's goalkeeper Walter Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Lindholm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sreten Popovic went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Walter Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borjan Golubovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Aleberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's Aaron Göransson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aaron Göransson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lokomotiv Sick-Sack protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aaron Göransson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 42nd match minute, Lokomotiv Sick-Sack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Göransson to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Zivko Cvetkovic. Jonatan Alebom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Lokomotiv Sick-Sack players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Serbia were winning 0-3.

53 minutes into the match, Borjan Golubovic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Lindholm. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Borjan Golubovic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 58 minutes into the match, Sreten Popovic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walter Lindholm, 0-5. Jonatan Alebom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Lindholm was a little too slow when Sreten Popovic got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-6. 72 minutes into the game, Ted Aleberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Serbia's Borjan Golubovic quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's zone, Borjan Golubovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Lindholm came out of the goal and Borjan Golubovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sreten Popovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Henry Vinström charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Vinström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Serbia booed when Lokomotiv Sick-Sack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sreten Popovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Walter Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Ek's late challenge caught a Serbia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Ek helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Lokomotiv Sick-Sack got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Ek. Ted Aleberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Sreten Popovic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walter Lindholm, 0-7. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's Walter Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sreten Popovic in the 93rd minute of play. Walter Lindholm made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Borjan Golubovic sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Sreten Popovic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Lindholm was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Serbia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
