The wind increased when Janusz Wielowiejski made the kick off in the second half. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 95th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by F. C. Clonmels Devils's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Micah Macdonald was slow to take the kick. During this time England's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Issac Dawson put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joonatan De Vlaeminck. For all the effort they put into the match, the England players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F. C. Clonmels Devils.
