Sungur Tuncalp hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Constantino Quinton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ali Kürşat Serimer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Radowit Murdza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tautvydas Mickevičius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Constantino Quinton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Ali Kürşat Serimer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Weterio in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Ricardo Weterio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Kürşat Serimer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Weterio was the one to do the kick off. ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Ali Kürşat Serimer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR from getting a goal against them. Ali Kürşat Serimer made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ricardo Weterio sent off a good shot on target. Radowit Murdza's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radowit Murdza helped the player get up and apologised. Ricardo Weterio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ali Kürşat Serimer came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Weterio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 88th minute. After 90 played minutes ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Kerimhan Muren. The crowd rose to their feet as ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Alan Berse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Kürşat Serimer. That made the score 0-8 after 93 minutes of play. The ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
