After 2 played minutes Bicicleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Feliu. 3 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Blasi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madison's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bicicleta F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Madison getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ciriaco Blasi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Lorencio got free with Ignacio Atauri in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Bicicleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Atauri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Lorencio. Moises Lon came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Bicicleta F.C.'s Eleuterio Sotil. But to his dismay, Eleuterio Sotil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute Amador Jorrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Bicicleta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Sotil to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Eliu. Mateo Batista's late challenge caught a Madison's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Batista helped the player get up and apologised. 21 minutes into the game, one of Bicicleta F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Bicicleta F.C. defense, Bernabe Dalmau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacio Atauri. The Bicicleta F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Atauri should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Uzuri in the 27th minute of play forced Bicicleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Lorencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Batista got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mateo Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Bernabe Dalmau shot from long distance in the 49th minute, but Ignacio Atauri was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post.

Eleuterio Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Bicicleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Amador Jorrin. Madison's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Cristobal Blasi scored to the left of an out of position Moises Lon, making the score, 1-4. If Eleuterio Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Edwardo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Moises Lon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bicicleta F.C.. Madison made a substitution. Marcial Feliu replaced Humberto Eliu. Cristobal Blasi charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristobal Blasi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bicicleta F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Cristobal Blasi hit a great ball. Amador Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madison's Vinicio Urbasa was substituted for Mauro Jusepe. When Anacleto Lawrence fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madison's protests and gave Anacleto Lawrence a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, one of Madison:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Madison. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Bicicleta F.C.'s Amador Jorrin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Moises Lon. After 94 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Lorencio. The supporters of Madison booed when Bicicleta F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bicicleta F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bicicleta F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
