German Indalecio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Naldo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 7 minutes, Osvaldo Ticho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devoto club social and the Madison players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Devoto club social got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Ticho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Naldo in the 16th minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper German Indalecio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Lorencio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. German Indalecio came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristides Lorencio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 17th minute. German Indalecio had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Benito Naldo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 26th minute of the match Madison got a corner. Devoto club social's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benito Naldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Devoto club social's goalie and right to Julian Oihan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Devoto club social's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 28 minutes into the match, Devoto club social's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Uzuri came free, but German Indalecio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Eduino kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Apolo Fix fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devoto club social's protests and gave Apolo Fix a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Devoto club social's Apolo Fix got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes, Benito Naldo made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Devoto club social's German Indalecio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg German Indalecio managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Madison's Benito Naldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Mingo in the 43rd minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Devoto club social's zone, Benito Naldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Indalecio came out of the goal and Benito Naldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Benito Naldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. German Indalecio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Naldo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Naldo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Indalecio saved Devoto club social from getting behind. The supporters of Devoto club social booed when Madison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Jusepe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Fix might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Rafe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Fix ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Madison's Severiano Rafe got control of the ball when Apolo Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Naldo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Indalecio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Devoto club social's German Indalecio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Oihan in the 62nd minute of play. Severiano Rafe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Tauro in the 65th minute. Benito Naldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Alfonso Quinito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devoto club social's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Quinito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd match minute, Devoto club social was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Ticho to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th match minute, Devoto club social was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Michael to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Lorencio in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Indalecio saved Devoto club social from getting behind. The Madison fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Madison's Benito Naldo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Benito Naldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but German Indalecio was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When Madison's Benito Naldo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Devoto club social's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Benito Naldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devoto club social's German Indalecio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Madison's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
