In the 21st minute, Donato Nalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Dariusz Dudkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Salvatore should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Cresconio to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslaw Deput came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Salvatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliks Ochabski's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When Miroslaw Deput came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the A State Of Trance fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslaw Deput couldn't finish the play. Miroslaw Deput kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Deput in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Miroslaw Deput had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miroslaw Deput was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Atlanta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A State Of Trance.
