Nilson Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbson Prata scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melquiades Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Alcântara in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nilson Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilson Paraibano couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Alcântara came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Prata. Arnaldo Coutinho hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Paraibano in the 40th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Daniel Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Daniel Alcântara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melquiades Salvatore, 0-3. In the 60th minute, Daniel Alcântara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. The goal made the score 0-4. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Chicão Matos hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Donato Nalo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charles Sarmento skillfully saved the ball. Charles Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Jaunti in the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Artemio Jaunti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Sarmento was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When Chicão Matos fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Chicão Matos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Chicão Matos got a free kick in the 70th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Daniel Alcântara took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Nilson Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Salvatore having to interfere. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Oihenarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbson Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Salvatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nilson Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Melquiades Salvatore made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Róbson Prata sent off a good shot on target. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Nilson Paraibano scored to the left of an out of position Melquiades Salvatore, making the score, 0-8. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
