Flavinho Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Dvořáček, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo de Carvalho. Michael Dvořáček recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. René Škvor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilvan Moura in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliézer Ramos in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck René Škvor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the CE LAJEADENSE RS defense, Rastislav Snopek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavinho Reis. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavinho Reis should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilvan Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petr Lužný kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Marcinho das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. René Škvor came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Gilvan Moura. But to his dismay, Gilvan Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gilvan Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Škvor having to interfere. When CE LAJEADENSE RS's Gilvan Moura in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Eldema Mstišov's goalie prevented a goal. Despite being the better team, FK Eldema Mstišov failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
