Samuca Freitas came out of the goal and Benedito Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BRASIL.Sp's attentive Horácio Ferraz managed to snatch the ball when Clemente Cardozo made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. Giuseppe Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giuseppe Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Umberto Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuca Freitas was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Umberto Dionísio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuca Freitas. Umberto Dionísio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Samuca Freitas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedrinho Guimarães came out of the goal and Paulinho Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Castanheiro SC's Umberto Dionísio managed to work through BRASIL.Sp's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Umberto Dionísio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Umberto Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Samuca Freitas made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when José Vítor Marinho made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Benedito Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuca Freitas was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Magno Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Freitas having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sarmento came free, but Samuca Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuca Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Anísio Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuca Freitas. BRASIL.Sp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anísio Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Fellipe da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Eger replaced Anísio Alagoano. In the 84th minute, Aílton Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fellipe da Silva hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Benedito Mineiro notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of BRASIL.Sp's Samuca Freitas. Samuca Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 minutes, Marcelo Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castanheiro SC and the BRASIL.Sp players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelo Eger hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Benedito Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Castanheiro SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
