In the 16th minute, Magic is Back's Marcelo Trobbiani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 20th minute, Martin Palermo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Navarro Montoya. The goal made the score 3-0. Martin Palermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Navarro Montoya made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Vistruario in the 27th minute of play forced Magic is Back's goalkeeper Ruben Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 got a freekick which was hit by Adas Abromaitis. When Adas Abromaitis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Ciriaco Ordono was substituted for Pastor Pio. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Wei Hong Ning was substituted for Mario Orixe. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Magic is Back's Ruben Sánchez got control of the ball when Ciriaco Ordono tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 booed when Magic is Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Battaglia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Martin Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Ordono hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Martin Palermo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Navarro Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magic is Back. Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Potente, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Magic is Back were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastián Battaglia took the corner. After taking down the ball on Magic is Back's corner Sebastián Battaglia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Navarro Montoya quite easily take care of the ball. Magic is Back's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
