The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Rafli Hamzah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Zappa struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Melquiades Mambru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for All Boys 22. Melquiades Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Ibaute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Esquipula. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Zappa in the 19th minute of the match. All Boys 22's Ezequiel Fresco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save All Boys 22 from getting a goal against them. The supporters of MORPH booed when All Boys 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yao Zhen Guang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carel Rokeloos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ezequiel Fresco made a huge save. Ezequiel Fresco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carel Rokeloos went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when John Ibaute came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Fresco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carel Rokeloos in the 34th minute of the match. Celedonio Esquipula came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ezequiel Fresco could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, All Boys 22's Yao Zhen Guang got a free kick in the 44th minute. All Boys 22's Ezequiel Fresco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save All Boys 22 from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ambrosio Estevez charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Estevez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Barijho in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carel Rokeloos in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Fresco saved All Boys 22 from getting behind. After 57 minutes, Yao Zhen Guang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All Boys 22 and the MORPH players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, All Boys 22's Yao Zhen Guang got a free kick in the 57th minute. MORPH made a substitution. Paulo Eguen replaced Carel Rokeloos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eguen in the 62nd minute of play forced All Boys 22's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fresco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, All Boys 22's Yao Zhen Guang got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ezequiel Fresco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Esquipula, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennigs short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Melquiades Mambru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 74 minutes into the game, MORPH's Paulo Eguen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Fresco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 78th minute, Paulo Eguen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MORPH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Paulo Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the MORPH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Eguen couldn't finish the play. If Paulo Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Paulo Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the MORPH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Eguen couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MORPH fans cheered their team off the field, for while All Boys 22 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
