Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) France's Frank Peletier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match FC Inter Sibiu got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filip Fikus ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 20th play minutes Frank Melis shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Maxime Durand and just under the crossbar into goal. Frank Melis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, FC Inter Sibiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emīls Umbrass to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes of play, FC Inter Sibiu's Frank Melis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 played minutes FC Inter Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Filip Fikus. 44 minutes in the game Mircea Lipan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Frank Melis. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emīls Umbrass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Remy Dupuy fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Remy Dupuy a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Remy Dupuy hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Frank Melis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Inter Sibiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Melis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Cordescu came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Sosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Barbier went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Remy Dupuy got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Remy Dupuy hit a great ball. Sebastián Sosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camille Baume in the 71st minute. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Melis in the 72nd minute of play. Emīls Umbrass's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Melis in the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Pompiliu Cordescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Pompiliu Cordescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Melis came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, France's Alexis Bruneau got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 89 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Camille Baume. Frank Melis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
