Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iurie Toader took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hegedus Henrik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horia Crăciunescu having to make a save. After 6 minutes of play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horia Crăciunescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 11th minute of play. Isac Liviu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Horia Crăciunescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Horia Crăciunescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horia Crăciunescu. Horia Crăciunescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dragoş Cîrțu's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dragoş Cîrțu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungary booed when FC Inter Sibiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Cîrțu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Horia Crăciunescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Horia Crăciunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FC Inter Sibiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Buceceanu to maneuver through the defense. Horia Crăciunescu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC Inter Sibiu from getting a goal against them. With his leg Horia Crăciunescu managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Hungary's Antal Valentin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Takacs Tibor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Crăciunescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 74th minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 77th minute, Valentin Negru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Horia Crăciunescu made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. FC Inter Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Horia Crăciunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Virgil Bogătan put in a rough tackle. In the 92nd minute, one of FC Inter Sibiu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Inter Sibiu. Horia Crăciunescu made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
