Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Beloki was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Generoso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Generoso Beloki quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Vodka Stars 1949's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner led Hungary's Takacs Tibor to fire away a dangerous shot which Generoso Beloki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Erik Véber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Alonso in the 24th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Vodka Stars 1949's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The attack was good, but when Vörös Henrik in the 31st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Erik Véber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Beloki saved Vodka Stars 1949 from getting behind. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Alonso in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Takacs Tibor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Alonso in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Beloki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Vodka Stars 1949 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

If Erik Véber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Curcio Alonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Alonso in the 53rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curcio Alonso's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Takacs Tibor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Alonso in the 70th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vodka Stars 1949's Edmundo London got a free kick in the 77th minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Curcio Alonso scored 2-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vodka Stars 1949 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
