After 40 minutes of play, FC Beatriz 08's Rafael Pereira made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 44th minute of the match. FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the game, Gaspar Gago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Beatriz 08's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. Gaspar Gago hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micah Macdonald to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Semedo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyle Cox in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Meira saved FC Beatriz 08 from getting behind. Abel Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 95th minute of play. England's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
