Mario Pizzuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 32nd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Pizzuto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toshko Toshkov got free with Casper Claes in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toshko Toshkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mario Pizzuto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Yves Dervaux's late challenge caught a Badia DevilZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yves Dervaux helped the player get up and apologised. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yves Dervaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Pizzuto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Mario Pizzuto made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Badia DevilZ's goalkeeper Mario Pizzuto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brefni Ferguson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Mario Pizzuto made a huge save. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Badia DevilZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. Edward Vanderstraeten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Mario Pizzuto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lenny Clocheret kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Toshko Toshkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Badia DevilZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toshko Toshkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
