The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caelan Hayes in the 22nd minute of play forced Lunar Park's goalkeeper Pierre-Loup Guérinet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Loup Guérinet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 24th minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Caelan Hayes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the England and the Lunar Park players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Caelan Hayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Kyle Cox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre-Loup Guérinet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Khalid Kennedy didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Lunar Park's zone, Kyle Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre-Loup Guérinet came out of the goal and Kyle Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Lunar Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Duchamp to maneuver through the defense. Pierre-Loup Guérinet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issac Dawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramzy Domergue in the 45th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Loup Guérinet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pierre-Loup Guérinet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issac Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Micah Macdonald scored 1-8 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierre-Loup Guérinet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of England booed when Lunar Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Rollier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes, England's Micah Macdonald shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pierre-Loup Guérinet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in England reached it. A collision led to Lunar Park getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alban Bouget hit a great ball. England's Micah Macdonald couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lunar Park. England played a much better game than Lunar Park and deserved their victory. The Lunar Park players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
