FC Barrera 2.0's Betão Paulista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Virgílio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Robert Chapuis made a precise shot to the right of Virgílio Montenegro. FC Barrera 2.0's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Virgílio Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Virgílio Montenegro came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Camille Baume. But to his dismay, Camille Baume quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Virgílio Montenegro came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Frank Peletier. But to his dismay, Frank Peletier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 20thth minute of the game Camille Baume who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barrera 2.0's Virgílio Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Frank Peletier put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Virgílio Montenegro. 32 minutes into the game, France's Remy Dupuy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgílio Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 36th minute, Valério Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Robert Chapuis notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of FC Barrera 2.0's Virgílio Montenegro. Virgílio Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Camille Baume made a precise shot to the right of Virgílio Montenegro. FC Barrera 2.0's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. Virgílio Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 53rd minute. Valério Xavier hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Barrera 2.0's Virgílio Montenegro got control of the ball when Camille Baume tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Peletier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgílio Montenegro came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Peletier slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 61st minute. Camille Baume blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgílio Montenegro having to make a save. Thiago de Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago de Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, one of FC Barrera 2.0:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Barrera 2.0. 67 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Virgílio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, France's Frank Peletier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Virgílio Montenegro. Virgílio Montenegro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Virgílio Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes in the game Jean Bombelles did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Robert Chapuis. Frank Peletier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgílio Montenegro came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Peletier slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 75th minute. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Virgílio Montenegro made a huge save. Virgílio Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. Virgílio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Dupuy in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper Virgílio Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Barrera 2.0's Virgílio Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barrera 2.0 from getting a goal against them. Virgílio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Bruneau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Frank Peletier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. 91 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper Virgílio Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camille Baume. FC Barrera 2.0's Virgílio Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Dupuy in the 93rd minute of play. Virgílio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remy Dupuy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Barrera 2.0 defense, Camille Baume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgílio Montenegro. The FC Barrera 2.0 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgílio Montenegro should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded France left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Barrera 2.0.
