But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 46 minutes into the game, Labi 范义南 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When 柳昆骋 came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the 【FLY】鸿星尔克 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 柳昆骋 couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Labi 范义南's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by 于默德 in the 72nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 【FLY】鸿星尔克's 梅乐杰 got a free kick in the 76th minute. 【FLY】鸿星尔克's 周傲邦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute of play. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. 周傲邦 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, 徐潮耀 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 【FLY】鸿星尔克's supporters rose to their feet, but 徐潮耀 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, 于默德 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 于默德 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
