Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Fridtjof Ferstad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fridtjof Ferstad in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fridtjof Ferstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 14th minute. Fridtjof Ferstad had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fridtjof Ferstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fridtjof Ferstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Daustad's Fridtjof Ferstad. But to his dismay, Fridtjof Ferstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Daustad's Fridtjof Ferstad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jo Øverås tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Fridtjof Ferstad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fridtjof Ferstad went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Fridtjof Ferstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Fridtjof Ferstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Fridtjof Ferstad came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Fridtjof Ferstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Fridtjof Ferstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck.
