Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Kania in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Sons of anarchy's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Merino came free, but Lennart Kempeneers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Kempeneers. Sons of anarchy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Dawid Kania's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Ascaso was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
