In the 16th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Crisantemo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of play forced Fighting Burning Hearts's goalkeeper Christian Crisantemo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Ennio Formica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Crisantemo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 25th minute of play. Rein Visscher received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Rein Visscher slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 37th minute of play forced Fighting Burning Hearts's goalkeeper Christian Crisantemo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fighting Burning Hearts's Filippo Tassotti managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 39 minute of the game. Florian Di Meo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Christian Crisantemo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Crisantemo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Rein Visscher tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Fighting Burning Hearts's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Christian Crisantemo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Crisantemo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Fighting Burning Hearts fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 80 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filippo Tassotti who took care of the corner kick. Filippo Tassotti made a great header on Fighting Burning Hearts's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Fighting Burning Hearts getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Florian Di Meo hit a great ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Fighting Burning Hearts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fighting Burning Hearts had won after a very even match.
