Cihat Ecemiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Rahim Niğdeli sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Büyükçekmece FC.'s Rahim Niğdeli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Burhan Tunçbay sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nigel Devos hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Devos to maneuver through the defense. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Hug in the 23rd minute of the match. Cihat Ecemiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rahim Niğdeli. Cihat Ecemiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute of play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Yves Dervaux kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahim Niğdeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Büyükçekmece FC.'s goalkeeper Cihat Ecemiş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Büyükçekmece FC. got a freekick which was hit by Korkutalp Sanih. In the 67th minute Rahim Niğdeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahim Niğdeli in the 67th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cihat Ecemiş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Yves Dervaux ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cihat Ecemiş was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihat Ecemiş having to interfere. Cihat Ecemiş made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurens Vandamme during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
