The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Malte Schiele a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 8 in the game by Everardo Huguet from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. In the 10th minute, Dan Van Hemel made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurgen Goris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonáš Baroš in the 17th minute. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Benard Ngamta sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 21st minute of play forced Wesselbend's goalkeeper Jurgen Goris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Huguet succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. After 28 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. Everardo Huguet scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Van Hemel in the 38th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Dan Van Hemel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Benard Ngamta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albin Holweck to make the kick off. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonáš Baroš, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Grégoire Caamaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Wesselbend's Dan Van Hemel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Wesselbend's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurgen Goris came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Van Hemel, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Timy Verengen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Huguet in the 85th minute of play. Wesselbend's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonáš Baroš in the 91st minute. Wesselbend's Jonáš Baroš was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dan Van Hemel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Wesselbend's Dan Van Hemel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grégoire Caamaño got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Everardo Huguet. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wesselbend fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
