An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Alegría in the 20th minute of play forced 『挑战者』龙归元海，阳潜于阴，人曰蛰龙，我却蛰心's goalkeeper 陶南景 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 秦伟星 kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Walmyr Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 陶南景 having to make a save. Dario Alegría might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 陶南景. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The AVAÍ F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when AVAÍ F.C.'s Walmyr Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walmyr Salles took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 陶南景. 陶南景 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 36th play minutes Walmyr Salles shot 0-6, a short shot which went by 陶南景 and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 43rd minute, Walmyr Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Walmyr Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 陶南景 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Alegría in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 陶南景 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, AVAÍ F.C.'s Walmyr Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 陶南景 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Tarcisio Chaves replaced Valdir Martins. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Alegría in the 77th minute of play forced 『挑战者』龙归元海，阳潜于阴，人曰蛰龙，我却蛰心's goalkeeper 陶南景 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
