Boguslaw Wydrych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Corralito AFC's zone, Mauricio Ekaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Lopez came out of the goal and Mauricio Ekaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Chaves in the 16th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bebeto Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corralito AFC's Keith Langley managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chico Che in the 35 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Hermosillo FC defense, Bebeto Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Evarado. The Hermosillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Evarado should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Corralito AFC's Dan Eckegren got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Dan Eckegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corralito AFC's Ramon Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Corralito AFC from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto Chaves to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Ekaitz in the 56th minute of play forced Corralito AFC's goalkeeper Ramon Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chico Che fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hermosillo FC's protests and gave Chico Che a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Che to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Corralito AFC booed when Hermosillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Che didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebeto Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Evarado having to interfere. Hermosillo FC's Jonatan Fraco was substituted for Alejandro Lope. 73 minutes into the match, Mauricio Ekaitz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Corralito AFC's Ramon Lopez. Ramon Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robustiano Jayvier. Robustiano Jayvier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Samuel Evarado made a huge save. Chico Che kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Bebeto Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 minutes of play, Corralito AFC's Bebeto Chaves made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Evarado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramon Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Ekaitz in the 94th minute of play. Corralito AFC's Bebeto Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
