Tadeo Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 陶南景 having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Mattias Wallengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newell´s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Tadeo Jakobe succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Jakobe in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 陶南景 saved 『挑战者』龙归元海，阳潜于阴，人曰蛰龙，我却蛰心 from getting behind. Mattias Wallengren took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 陶南景. 陶南景 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Jakobe made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in 『挑战者』龙归元海，阳潜于阴，人曰蛰龙，我却蛰心's zone, Mattias Wallengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 陶南景 came out of the goal and Mattias Wallengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Wallengren had several of the 『挑战者』龙归元海，阳潜于阴，人曰蛰龙，我却蛰心's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed 陶南景 as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 59th minute Tadeo Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 陶南景 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Wallengren came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 陶南景 could save by the left post. After 62nd play minutes Tadeo Jakobe shot 0-8, a short shot which went by 陶南景 and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Tadeo Jakobe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 『挑战者』龙归元海，阳潜于阴，人曰蛰龙，我却蛰心's 陶南景 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, 『挑战者』龙归元海，阳潜于阴，人曰蛰龙，我却蛰心's 陶南景 got control of the ball when Mattias Wallengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tadeo Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Wallengrens short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got 陶南景 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 72nd minute of the match, Tadeo Jakobe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 陶南景 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Mattias Wallengren came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Newell´s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Wallengren couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes of play, Newell´s's Mattias Wallengren made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 陶南景 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the game, Mattias Wallengren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 陶南景. Mattias Wallengren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Newell´s's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
