A collision led to Dreamland getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Miroslaw Czajka hit a great ball. Bernard Niemojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Dreamland's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Bernard Niemojewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacek Mikulski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Sobania in the 46th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Mikulski in the 51st minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Pawel Sobania mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dreamland and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valter Fernkvist made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Witold Wodaszak immediately put the ball in play. After 69 played minutes Dreamland got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Zjawin. Tolek Sidorowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Sidorowicz in the 75th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Valter Fernkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacek Mikulski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dreamland.
