To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edward Slazak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edward Slazak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 27th minute of the match, Teobald Jeziorkowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fodor Daniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Edward Slazak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Teobald Jeziorkowski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MARKUS's protests and gave Teobald Jeziorkowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes FC MARKUS got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Jeziorkowski. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Jeziorkowski in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pawel Sikola who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Lucjan Drugi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hegedus Henrik struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Edward Slazak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. FC MARKUS's Edward Slazak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FC MARKUS from getting a goal against them.
