Gu Xu Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gu Xu Yang sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Tykhela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Alo Kalenik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alo Kalenik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maarek Vananurm in the 20th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Fredrik Nordström made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Kiur Nurmeots kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Tykhela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiur Nurmeots to maneuver through the defense. Alo Kalenik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Tykhela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Alo Kalenik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maarek Vananurm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Maarek Vananurm slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

In the 54th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarek Vananurm in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Tykhela FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Albérico Linhares hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Alo Kalenik in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maarek Vananurm scored 3-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarek Vananurm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Maarek Vananurm made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alo Kalenik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 90th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Tykhela FC's Maarek Vananurm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
