Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Folke Melin in the 2nd minute. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Malcolm Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pauliström's Ingvar Johansson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Folke Melin might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Folke Melin ran back to his position shaking his head. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pauliström's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alexander Lundström hit a great ball. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malcolm Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Pauliström booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hegedus Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malcolm Wall. Pauliström's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Albert Andberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcolm Wall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Christer Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Melin was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Malcolm Wall was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Hjortsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Malcolm Wall in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Folke Melin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Folke Melin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
