Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Korneliusz Barna sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 46 played minutes Jiang Lang Kun rounded Croatia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jiang Lang Kun was the one to do the kick off. Toni Mauzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Peter having to interfere. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Tufescu in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Marin Tufescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Tufescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Tufescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
