In the 19th minute, Miguel Volio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Rodrigo Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Monge. That made the score 1-1 in the 73 minute of play. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ernesto Monge made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Monge. Ernesto Monge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Marco Ureña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Omar Guevara kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CS La Libertad.
