Bernardo Loren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 20 minutes into the match, Artemio Odol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 2-2. 23 minutes into the game, Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Nayely got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Artemio Odol. Bernardo Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Graciano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacando del Medio's Bernardo Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Sacando del Medio's Bernardo Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 52nd minute of play. Sacando del Medio's Dionisio Gonsalvo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Faustino Almeida in the 54 minute of the game. In the 55th minute Artemio Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Moura hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Artemio Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Odol in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Omero came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Sacando del Medio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Gonsalvo to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Loren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipinho Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-3 in the 68 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Odol in the 71st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Bernardo Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacando del Medio's Bernardo Loren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Sacando del Medio from getting a goal against them. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Odol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Bartolomeu Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Loren. Sacando del Medio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolomeu Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-4. Sacando del Medio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
