Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Moreno in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Bengt Bouchard made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bengt Bouchard succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 19th playminute. 25 minutes into the game, Theis Winther threw the ball into play from the sideline. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FÊNIX F.C.'s João Carlos Medeiros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mikkel Wulff, made in the 45th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Fetor. FÊNIX F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Pedro Luís Pereira made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. 57 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Cunha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Theis Winther quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Mauro Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Mauro Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Bengt Bouchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Keld Paulsen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FÊNIX F.C.'s Mauro Luz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 98 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Martins. Mikkel Wulff took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damian Fetor. FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FÊNIX F.C. had won after a very even match.
