An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Râznicu in the 5th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Avram Râznicu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Michiel Vleminx sent off a good shot on target. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Râznicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Agachi came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jovan Borisov kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Michiel Vleminx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Michiel Vleminx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a huge save. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Agachi in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panait Agachi. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Vaslui's Panait Agachi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. That made the score 5-0 after 44 minutes of play. Petre Rogozanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out and tried to block the shot, but Petre Rogozanu slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sreten Popovic was the one to do the kick off. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Râznicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes of play, FC Vaslui's Adam Potopea made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panait Agachi took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Panait Agachi scored 9-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Avram Râznicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Râznicu in the 98th minute of play. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Rogozanu in the 99th minute of the match. FC Vaslui's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
