Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuralp Eracar in the 4th minute of play. Gabriel Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Florida United's Gabriel Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 8th minute of play. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Ibar. Gabriel Ibar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Florida United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nuralp Eracar hit a great ball. Gabriel Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ibar. Florida United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A hard shot 30 in the game by Nuralp Eracar from a close distance when the talented Arnout Reekers managed to make a qualified save. Netherlands's players were relieved. Gabriel Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Nuralp Eracar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers. Nuralp Eracar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 42nd minute of play forced Florida United's goalkeeper Gabriel Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 44th minute of play forced Florida United's goalkeeper Gabriel Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Florida United were awarded a corner. Ruperto Amato went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ruperto Amato almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nuralp Eracar made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Florida United got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruperto Amato ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ruperto Amato got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gabriel Ibar made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Amato in the 65th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Ibar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 70th minute Mark Bållström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florida United's Gabriel Ibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Florida United from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Ibar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 75th minute. Nuralp Eracar scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Ibar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lars Meesters scored 2-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Ibar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Florida United's Natalio Heriberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. In the 91st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Ibar. The goal made the score 3-6.
