Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Bianco in the 18th minute of play. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Osvaldinho Queirós with Dinç Dede as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damiano Mucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Damiano Mucci. FC Aquile Azzurre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damiano Mucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Osvaldinho Queirós in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Damiano Mucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Federico Bianco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Porziano Marchitelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Mucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Porziano Marchitelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Damiano Mucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rd minute. Damiano Mucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Italy were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after FC Aquile Azzurre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinç Dede in the 68th minute of play. FC Aquile Azzurre made a substitution. Carlo Borgatello replaced Federico Bianco. After 72 minutes FC Aquile Azzurre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Italy's Sigfrido Auletta to fire away a dangerous shot which Damiano Mucci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Damiano Mucci made a huge save. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. In the 83rd match minute, FC Aquile Azzurre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Queirós to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Damiano Mucci in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Eliseo Cutri threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Aquile Azzurre's Yuan Xiong quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Adriano Curto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Damiano Mucci made a huge save. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Damiano Mucci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Curto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Damiano Mucci made a huge save. Italy played a much better game than FC Aquile Azzurre and deserved their victory. The FC Aquile Azzurre players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
