Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis-Antonio Jurado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis-Antonio Jurado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Luis-Antonio Jurado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis-Antonio Jurado was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis-Antonio Jurado. Tirant lo Blanch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Luis-Antonio Jurado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis-Antonio Jurado came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 23rd minute Juan Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Txema Mudarra was slow to take the kick. During this time Tirant lo Blanch's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Alanzo Cabezas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 26 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis-Antonio Jurado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis-Antonio Jurado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siebe Michiels in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Siebe Michiels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Luis-Antonio Jurado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Luis-Antonio Jurado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis-Antonio Jurado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis-Antonio Jurado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis-Antonio Jurado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Yves Dervaux hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis-Antonio Jurado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Edward Vanderstraeten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 54th playminute. 0-10 became the score in the 58th minute when Yves Dervaux elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis-Antonio Jurado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Juan Sánchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Juan Sánchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Tirant lo Blanch's Luis-Antonio Jurado got control of the ball when Siebe Michiels tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Siebe Michiels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Tirant lo Blanch's Luis-Antonio Jurado got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. At last the ball reached Sander Dermaut at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Tirant lo Blanch. 0-12. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Luis-Antonio Jurado in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Luis-Antonio Jurado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis-Antonio Jurado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Edward Vanderstraeten didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-14 via right post in the game's 90th minute. Belgium's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 93 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-15 with a short kick to the right side. Tirant lo Blanch's Luis-Antonio Jurado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis-Antonio Jurado. Luis-Antonio Jurado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. Belgium's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
