In the 15th minute, Joachim Van Der Meren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Asingratitos FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolf Huveneers took the corner. The corner led to Asingratitos FC's Boris Boegaert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 31 played minutes Asingratitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Natan Vermeesch. In the 34th minute, Natan Vermeesch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rolf Huveneers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sem De Kelper, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vykan Víkingsson having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Asingratitos FC's Joachim Van Der Meren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Vykan Víkingsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 59th minute of play. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn De Smedt in the 82nd minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Huveneers in the 83rd minute of play.
