Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Vinicio Carballeira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Memphis Grizzlies's Vinicio Carballeira fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donald Fenwick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Ty Hislop dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Memphis Grizzlies's Joachim Garate got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Vinicio Carballeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Carballeira came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Vinicio Carballeira came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ty Hislop in the 26th minute. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Carballeira in the 33rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Crocker hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Donald Fenwick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Germany's Albin Holweck quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jim Mannell, made in the 37th minute of the game. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Ty Hislop tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ty Hislop in the 43rd minute. When Ty Hislop came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ty Hislop couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Vinicio Carballeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Carballeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Carballeira in the 58th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Carballeira came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ty Hislop in the 62nd minute of the match. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Memphis Grizzlies's Stuart Banks was substituted for Vinicio Carballeira. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Nicky Sansom replaced Grant Andrews. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Stuart Banks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Banks in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Banks in the 77th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. In the 79th minute, Stuart Banks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Memphis Grizzlies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's Stuart Banks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ulrich Stein hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Stuart Banks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stuart Banks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Banks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Memphis Grizzlies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
