In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bors's goalkeeper Martin Giöck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Martin Giöck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Kjellbom hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gert Stenkvist hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Guimarães in the 26th minute of play. FC Bors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fábio Guimarães in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Fábio Guimarães got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 29 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Fábio Guimarães who took care of the corner kick. 31 minutes into the match, FC Bors's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Martin Giöck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Bors defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Giöck. The FC Bors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Giöck should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Giöck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Giöck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balazs Lajos in the 40th minute of play forced FC Bors's goalkeeper Martin Giöck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Bors booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Giöck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Evert Wennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Major Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Giöck. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hegedus Henrik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Bors's Martin Giöck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Bors from getting a goal against them. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Hungary's Balazs Lajos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Giöck. Martin Giöck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. FC Bors made a substitution. Magne Ek replaced Sven-Ove Tillman. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bors's goalkeeper Martin Giöck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hungary booed when FC Bors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Kjellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Martin Giöck in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Bors.
