In the 3rd minute, Octav Albescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nistor Maghiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorin Doroftei's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Dinu Zamfirescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Maghiar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Doroftei in the 10th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dinu Zamfirescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nistor Maghiar was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tanek Gondek in the 16th minute. When Niculae Şantău came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Minerul Baita -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Şantău couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Alexe to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Ciprian Alexe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Pandrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Gigel Omescu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Zamfirescu in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dorin Doroftei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorin Doroftei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nistor Maghiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Alexe in the 32nd minute of play forced Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's goalkeeper Iustin Pandrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paschalis Karastathis in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Maghiar saved Minerul Baita -MM- from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Gheorghe Birișu got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute Paschalis Karastathis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's Tanek Gondek to fire away a dangerous shot which Nistor Maghiar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gordon Miner kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Shearer during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Allan Shearer hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Dorin Doroftei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nistor Maghiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Doroftei in the 59th minute of the match. Nistor Maghiar made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Dinu Zamfirescu sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gordon Miner during the 63rd minute. During the 68th minute of the match Gordon Miner completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gordon Miner a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 69 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Miner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Qiu Wei Ting was substituted for Allan Shearer. Gordon Miner kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Nistor Maghiar came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's Dorin Doroftei. But to his dismay, Dorin Doroftei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Nistor Maghiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paschalis Karastathis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes of play, Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's Dorin Doroftei made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nistor Maghiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Gondek. In the 87th minute Dorin Doroftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Doroftei in the 87th minute of play. Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
