The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Walter Zenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Lechințan, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s Numan Tanuğur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannes Albäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Lechințan to maneuver through the defense. Hannes Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Numan Tanuğur, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Walter Zenga came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Vlad Vătafu. But to his dismay, Vlad Vătafu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandru Boșneag got free with Walter Zenga in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Vlad Vătafu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Teodor Nisporeanu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of Scorpions -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Scorpions -MM-. 43 minutes into the match, Călin Lechințan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walter Zenga, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

50 minutes into the match, Călin Lechințan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Zenga. Scorpions -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Călin Lechințan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Cristian Grozuță took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Zenga. Walter Zenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Walter Zenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Boșneag, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Călin Lechințan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s supporters rose to their feet, but Călin Lechințan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Zenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Valer Bălășoiu was substituted for Alexandru Boșneag. Sergiu Golescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hannes Albäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mihai Stoleru hit a great ball. Vlad Vătafu took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Zenga. Walter Zenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Urdin in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Cristian Grozuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Scorpions -MM-'s Hannes Albäck threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Numan Tanuğur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Grozuță in the 86th minute of the match. Cristian Grozuță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Zenga having to interfere. Walter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Vătafu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Grozuță in the 92nd minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Numan Tanuğur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
