In the 8th minute Augustin Petruț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diki Doro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicodim Bădiliță kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s İlhami Akyazıcı quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nicodim Bădiliță, made in the 13th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s zone, Zhao Sen Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Tudor came out of the goal and Zhao Sen Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner ended in Olov Ahlbeck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Martin Tudor did a great save. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 23rd minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. Nicodim Bădiliță made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paul Diculescu immediately put the ball in play. Dacian Tilea charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dacian Tilea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Tilea. In the 43rd minute of the match Ionică Botescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diki Doro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Tudor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Dacian Tilea got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 63rd minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner. Olov Ahlbeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Zhao Sen Yang took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Tudor. Martin Tudor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Diki Doro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Petruț in the 69th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Tudor saved FC Psihopel BM-MM- from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Bienienda came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Nicodim Bădiliță threw the ball into play from the sideline. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Dacian Tilea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- defense, Augustin Petruț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diki Doro. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diki Doro should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Nicodim Bădiliță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Psihopel BM-MM- were furious when Ionică Botescu was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Psihopel BM-MM-! After 95 minutes, Stasio Bienienda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- and the FC Psihopel BM-MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 99th minute of play. FC Psihopel BM-MM- were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- to leave the ground with a draw.
