In the 7th minute Frederik Dhondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minerul Baita -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vadim Tudor in the 8th minute. Nistor Maghiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baal Ares's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Dhondt came free, but Luca Jivulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Allan Shearer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, one of Minerul Baita -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Minerul Baita -MM-:s Nistor Maghiar showed great skill when he stopped Alin Brumaru:s penalty. In the 26th minute Ares FC -MM- were awarded a corner. Alin Brumaru went to the cornerflag to take it. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Şantău, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Baal Ares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baal Ares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Nistor Maghiar made a huge save. Baal Ares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nistor Maghiar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nistor Maghiar made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Baal Ares sent off a good shot on target. Baal Aress short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Nistor Maghiar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frederik Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Ciprian Alexe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rareș Comișel fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minerul Baita -MM-'s protests and gave Rareș Comișel a yellow card for diving instead. Rareș Comișel hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Nistor Maghiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baal Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 44th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Frederik Dhondt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46thth minute of the game Baal Ares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Minerul Baita -MM-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Baal Ares scored to the left of an out of position Nistor Maghiar, making the score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baal Ares was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Baal Ares came free, but Nistor Maghiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Minerul Baita -MM-'s zone, Baal Ares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Maghiar came out of the goal and Baal Ares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Baal Ares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Minerul Baita -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ares FC -MM-:s goal. 66 minutes into the game, Alin Brumaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nistor Maghiar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baal Ares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Maghiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 72nd minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baal Ares in the 82nd minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Baal Ares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ares FC -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Baal Ares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes in the game Rareș Comișel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Niculae Şantău. Nistor Maghiar came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares. But to his dismay, Baal Ares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Alexe, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baal Ares in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Maghiar saved Minerul Baita -MM- from getting behind. If Baal Ares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Hoisie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Shearer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Jivulescu having to interfere. Ares FC -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
