The audience was convinced that Hector Bobis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Zaccheo Andolina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zacarias Cabrero. That made the score 1-3 after 86 minutes of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Zacarias Cabrero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Curto in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
