In the 5th match minute, FC Acqua Palomba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgio Conte to maneuver through the defense. Amanda van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Mario Eneko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The supporters of FC Acqua Palomba booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Acqua Palomba's Joachim Roberts got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Mario Eneko scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Ciro Immobile notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Krakouer during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Adrian Dreifuss shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amanda van der Sar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Eneko in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. FC Acqua Palomba's Amanda van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 83rd minute of play. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 84th minute. Albin Holweck was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. FC Acqua Palomba's Giorgio Conte got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Giorgio Conte off the ground. Giorgio Conte hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amanda van der Sar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amanda van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target.
